July, 2009:

On July 28, 2009 Governor Schwarzenegger signed the education trailer bill setting the community college enrollment fee at $26 per unit, effective for the Fall 2009 term. We are obligated to collect the additional $6 per unit from students who have registered at $20 per unit.

For those students who have previously applied for financial aid and qualified for a Board of Governors (BOG) Fee Waiver, the fee increase will be fully covered and no further action on their part is required.
