The student will study the effect of learning disabilities on the individual, the family, employment, and social interaction. Not applicable for degree credit. Course may be taken two times. (2) DST R003—Learning Disability Testing ½ unit 1½ hours lab weekly This course is designed to provide information regarding students' academic achievement, modality strengths and weaknesses, and learning styles. Eligibility to receive educational support services as a learning disabled student, as defined by the Chancellor's Office of the California Community Colleges, may result from completion of this course. Not applicable for degree credit. Course may be taken two times. (1) DST R098—Topics in Disability ½-10 units Lecture and/or lab hours as required by unit formula Special topics in Special Education designed to meet the needs of handicapped students.
